How to add an email signature to HEY
HEY is 37signals' opinionated email service with a deliberately simple signature editor built for text, links, and inline images. A clean Sigmint template pastes in well, though HEY favors lightweight layouts over complex table-based designs.
Create your signature first →- 1
In Sigmint, click Copy signature to copy your signature to the clipboard.
- 2
In HEY, click your account avatar in the top-right corner and open your account settings.
- 3
Find and open the Signature section.
- 4
Click into the signature editor and paste (Cmd+V / Ctrl+V) your Sigmint signature.
- 5
Check the preview — if any spacing or layout looks off, tidy it with the editor's formatting tools or switch to a simpler Sigmint template.
- 6
Enable the option to add the signature to your outgoing emails, then save.
- 7
Send yourself a test email to confirm it appears and the links work.
💡 HEY's editor keeps formatting simple and may strip table-based layouts or fine styling, so the Minimal or Compact Sigmint templates paste most reliably. You can also toggle the signature on or off per message from the compose window.
