How to add an email signature to Proton Mail
Proton Mail's signature editor lives in your web settings and uses a rich text field that accepts a pasted signature. Because Proton is privacy-first, remote images are blocked by default, so a hosted logo may need to be loaded manually.
Create your signature first →- 1
In Sigmint, click Copy signature.
- 2
In Proton Mail on the web, click the Settings gear (top-right) and choose All settings.
- 3
In the left sidebar, open Identity and addresses.
- 4
Find your address and click Edit (the pencil) to open display name and signature, and make sure the signature toggle is enabled.
- 5
Click into the Signature field, clear any existing content, and paste with Cmd/Ctrl+V.
- 6
Click Save, then open Compose to confirm the signature renders.
💡 Proton Mail blocks remote content by default, so a hosted logo can appear as a 'load images' prompt until loaded. Keep the logo hosted rather than embedded, and expect Proton to strip some advanced CSS from complex layouts.
