How to add an email signature to Outlook for Mac

Outlook for Mac manages signatures in its Settings under Email, with a rich editor that accepts your pasted Sigmint signature. You then choose which signature is used by default for new messages and for replies.

Create your signature first →
  1. 1

    In Sigmint, click Copy signature.

  2. 2

In Outlook for Mac, open the Outlook menu and choose Settings (Cmd+,).

  3. 3

    Under Email, click Signatures.

  4. 4

Click + to create a new signature and give it a name.

  5. 5

Click into the editor on the right and paste with Cmd+V (use plain Paste, not Paste and Match Style, to keep the formatting).

  6. 6

In 'Choose default signature', assign it to your account for New messages and for Replies/forwards.

  7. 7

Close Settings and start a new email to confirm the signature.

💡 If New Outlook for Mac drops images or spacing when pasting, switch the 'New Outlook' toggle off (top-right of the window) to use Legacy Outlook, which handles pasted HTML signatures more reliably.
